Dory Dale Gross, 73, of Spiceland, died on April 14, 2012, in Coastal Plain Hospital in Rocky Mountain, N.C. He was born on December 28, 1938, in Knightstown the son of Arthur and Ruth (Shoemaker) Gross.
Dory is survived by his children: Jimmy Stacey, Randy (Janice) Gross, Charlene Faulstich, Rick Gross, Scott Gross all of Knightstown, Dory Dale Gross, Jr. of Martinsburg, W.Va., Thelma Marsh of Indianapolis, Artie (Kim) Gross of New Castle; sister, Phyllis (Bob) Lukens of Knightstown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters; Mary Jeremiah and Darlene Gross; brother, Leslie Gross; sister, Donna Strange.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.n. on Wednesday. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Danny Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
