Barbara G. Dunbar, 83, of Greensburg, Ind., passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at her residence. Barbara was born in Knightstown, on Aug. 5, 1928, daughter of the late Lois (Dowell) and Howard Grubbs.
She was the wife of Mark Dunbar, who she married on Feb. 26, 1954. She was a self employed owner at Greensburg Dairy Queen. She was a member of the First Christian Church Greensburg, Eastern Star, Sigma Beta and Phy Sigma Mu. She graduated Butler University with a Bachelor & Masters degree.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Lee Ann (Ken) Woodhull, of Greensburg, Ind., and Karen S. (John) Dodane, of Westland, Mich., brother Marvin Grubbs of Fla.; sister, Wilna Cole of Greenfield; grandchildren, Kara and Anna Dodane, and Kitra and Kaitlyn Woodhull; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy, Ind. Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st Christian Church of Greensburg.
