Jesse A. Moon, 81, of Maxwell, died on March 31, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospice. Born on July 16, 1930, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Wilbur and Dorothy (Hardesty) Moon.
Surviving by his wife, Sue Moon of Maxwell; children, Doug (Lisa) Moon of Greenfield, Randy (Ella) Moon of Lawrence, and Carla Hall of Indianapolis; ten step-children, Virginia, Bobby, Charlotte, Sharon, Gary, Steve, Lisa, Donna, Danny, and Billy; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents Wilbur and Dorothy (Hardesty) Moon; and sons, Mark Moon and Jeff Moon.
Visitation will be from Noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Reverend Randall Parker will be officiating and burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
