Jason E. Stephens, 39, of Anderson, died March 23, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born July 25, 1972 in New Castle, Ind. to Jack Stephens and Della (Garland) Cathcart.
Survivors include two daughters; Aubrey and Drew Stephens of Shirley; one step-son Austin McClure of Shirley; father, Jack Stephens of Knightstown; mother and step-father, Della and Charles Cathcart of Carthage; three step sisters, Jennifer Bartlam of Jackson, Miss., Laura Cathcart of Chicago, and Beth Matney of Martinsville, Ind.; grandmother, Kelda Stephens of Knightstown; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Edward Stephens; maternal grandparents, Earl and Ellen Garland.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 30, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Sister Shirley Gerth officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations can be made to the benefit fund for Aubrey, Drew, and Austin, the children of Jason Stephens. Donations can be made at any Ameriana Bank location.
