Ada M. Headlee, 96, a resident of Greenfield passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born on April 4, 1915, in Greenfield to the late William C. & Anna “Rosa” (True) Coffin.
She was a 1933 graduate of Greenfield High School and retired in 1974 from Leary’s Bottle Gas as a bookkeeper. She was a 50 year member of Faith United Methodist Church, Greenfield Singles Club, loved volunteering and taking care of the elderly.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Coffin of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Matthew Headlee of Fortville, Mark Headlee, Jonathon Headlee both of Greenfield, Shari (Terry) Enger of Hillsboro, N.D.; six great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Headlee in 1974; son, Jacque Headlee in 2005; one sister; and five brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
