Benjamin Marcus Lindsey, age 61, of Fortville, died on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011. at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson. Born on Sept. 7, 1950, he was the son of Luther and Alberta Mae (Williams) Lindsey.
Mr. Lindsey was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving him are his children, Richard Twitty of Seagoville, Texas, Jennifer Gossett of Indianapolis, Joni Miles of Pendleton, Kimberly Montreal of Phoenix, Ariz.; siblings, James, Shirley, Sally, Mary; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers, Jerry Dale Dixon, Hershel Garnder, and Edward Lindsey.
The family would like to invite you to celebrate Ben’s life with them from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville. Military honors will be presented at 5 p.m. at the mortuary.
