Frank Marion Dyer, Sr., age 81, of Greenfield, passed away on Nov. 1, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospital. Born on July 29, 1930, in Pontiac, Mich., he was the son of William and Ida (Snyder) Dyer.
Frank was the previous owner of Frosty Mug in Greenfield and also owned Dyer’s C-Ville Auto Sales. He married Mary Jane Farmer in Greenfield in 1984. He enjoyed gambling, boxing, and his dogs.
Surviving him are his children, Frank M. Dyer, Jr. of Greenfield, Shelly (Terry) Gregory of Brownsburg, Ind., Damon Wheeler of Greenfield; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters; one brother; and a grandson, Cody Wheeler.
Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Pastor Danny Curry will be officiating.
