Sherida A. Sutton, age 61, a resident of Shirley, passed away on Monday morning, Oct. 31, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born on April 12, 1950, in New Castle, to Ralph K. and Vera Mae (Milner) Kaufman.
Sherida was the office manager for Metals Technology Corp. in Shirley for 30 years, a member of the Shirley United Methodist Church, and member of a local Euchre Club.
Survivors include her husband, Vaughn Sutton of Shirley; sons, Jason Sutton of Kennard, Aaron (Kira) Sutton of Rushville; brothers, Jerry Kaufman of Shirley, Ken Kaufman of Pittsboro, Ind.; aunts, Dot Kaufman of New Castle, Glenda Conley of New Castle; Uncle, Dale Milner of Walton, Ind.; grandchildren, Eva and Isaac Sutton of Connersville, Ashley, Jacob and Jayden Sutton of Ky.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Kaufman.
Friends may call fro m4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the funeral home, with Rev. Jenny Charles officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery.
