Cindy Lou Galliher, 60, Anderson, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following a two-year battle with cancer. She was born on Oct. 20, 1950, in Anderson, Ind. to James and Fannie (Price) Conkin.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles Galliher; two children, James and Christopher Galliher of Anderson; two sisters, Kay (husband, Harley) Cox of Greenfield, and Charlotte (husband, Larry) King of Georgetown, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, James "Bud" and Michael Conkin.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the Funeral Home in Lapel with Harry Kirchenbauer and Ben Lamey, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel at a later date.
