John W. Lett age 75 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Saturday morning June 11, 2011 at Golden Living Center at Brandywine in Greenfield. He was born July 15, 1935 in Huntington, W. Va. to the late Harvey & Garnett (Byrom) Lett.

John was a master pressman for Greenfield Printers, a division of Mitchell-Fleming Printing of Greenfield for 30 years and the former owner of his own printing business, Colonial Press of Zionsville. John specialized in 4-color offset printing. He was an avid wood worker, fisherman, loved playing “Santa Claus”, operated his own flea market store “John’s Bikes” in Irvington and was known as the “Bicycle Man”.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Donna (Heineman) Lett of Greenfield; sons, Steve (Teresa) Lett of Lebanon, Ind., Richard (Cindy) Lett of Spring Grove, Ill., daughter, Denise (Andy) Arland of Greenfield, brothers Gary Lett, Okla., Jerry Lett, W. Va., Jack Lett, W. Va.;8 grandchildren, Scott, Jacob, Zachary, Lucas, Matthew, Nicholas, Anastasia, Gracie; great grandchildren, Sarai, Andrew, Dakota, Savanna, Allie, Brianna, Seth, a niece and several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Max Lett.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Monday June 13, 2011. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Park Cemetery at a later date.
