Shirley Ann Holt Thompson, 59, of New Palestine, passed away May 30, 2011. The daughter of Waymon Carr and Lucy Ann Atwood Holt, Shirley was born Jan. 14, 1952 in Indianapolis.
For 30 years, she worked as a quality control manager for Mid America Extrusions.
Survivors include: brothers, Michael C. Payton of Oaklandon, Waymon Carr “Bub” Holt of Indianapolis; sisters, Linda Kay Bledsoe of Indianapolis, Carolyn Sue Miller of New Palestine and Della Dian Cannon of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, A. David Payton.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 2, 2011 at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E. Washington St, where friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on June 1, 2011. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
