Stephen Medlin, 61, of Richmond passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Reid Hospital. e was born March 10, 1950, in Greenfield to Clovis Larry and Era Juanita Mize Medlin and lived here for the last 16 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Malinda Medlin; two children Luke (Melissa) Medlin of Okinawa, Japan, and Marion (Anthony) Dates of Huber Heights, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Macy, Jaxson Medlin, Hope, Farrah, Karston Fox, Gavin, Isaiah Dates; 11 brothers and sister, Diane Bice, Loretta Farrell, Darlene Medlin, Larry Medlin, Vickie Reynolds, Teresa LaRose, Lonnie Medlin, Nadine Mann, Mary Jo Medlin, Russell Medlin, and Regina Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth Medlin.
A Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Oak Park Church with Pastor Jimmy Toney officiating. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
