Ebert W. Meadors, age 81, of Kokomo, formerly of Greenfield, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. He was born June 5, 1929 in Pike County, IN to the late Harley O. and Ruby L. (Sweet) Meadors. He is survived by his son, Steven W. (Lois) Meadors of Kokomo; daughter, Cheryl A. Meadors of Spencer; sister, Rose Anne Bachelor of Washington; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anona Meadors; and brothers, Horace, James, Lyndell, and Kermit.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the beginning of a celebration of Ebert’s life, which will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
