Riley Wranglers craft fair May 4

GREENFIELD – The Riley Wranglers Square Dance Club will host its 38th annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 4.

The event is at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 Apple St., Greenfield. Admission and parking are free.

Luau fundraiser to benefit The Landing Place

GREENFIELD – The Landing Place will host its annual luau event May 9 at Adaggios Banquet Hall, 5999 W. Memory Lane, Greenfield.

The Landing Place Luau is the nonprofit’s largest fundraising event of the year. Guest speaker is Hancock County Sheriff Brad Burkhart.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $50 and there are several table and sponsor ticket packages available. Purchase tickets at givebox.com/524669

Downtown Greenfield historic tour May 5

GREENFIELD – Learn about the historic Hancock County Courthouse Square district in a walking tour coming up.

Greenfield Historic Landmarks is hosting a free guided “Then and Now” walking tour of downtown Greenfield. The tour will allow participants to compare what the Hancock County Courthouse square looked like in the late 1800s to now using photographs. The tour will begin at 2 p.m. May 5 and last about 60 to 90 minutes. It will be about 10 blocks, or one mile in length. Passport program supports 5K fundraisers

GREENFIELD – The Passport to Hancock County 5K Series returns, encouraging people to stay active while supporting local causes in health events.

Pick up a passport that includes 11 local events. Register for races and bring your passport to each race for a stamp. After completing seven events, receive a medal. The program, sponsored by Hancock Health, promotes “fitness, philanthropy and fun” and encourages people to run, walk and roll to participate. The first events are this weekend, with the Donut Dash supporting Alternatives Inc. at 9 a.m. Saturday at Depot Street Park; and the Heroes for Health 5K Fun Run, hosted by Mt. Vernon Community Schools also at 9 a.m. Saturday.
