GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Republican Party will play host to a campaign workshop at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Brandywine Community Church to offer training to officeholders and prospective candidates. (The date of the event was incorrect in an item published earlier this week.)

The event is open to all county Republicans interested in running for office. It is free to attend, and lunch will be provided. Attendees will receive training on developing a campaign plan, fundraising and getting out the vote. Presenters will include state Sen. Mike Crider and state Rep. Bob Cherry, along with Megan Umlauf of Cardinal Consulting, a campaign consultant and veteran of the Mitch Daniels reelection campaign.

Space is limited, so reservations are requested. To attend, RSVP to [email protected].
