Students earn honors

from Trine University

ANGOLA — Students from Trine University’s main campus and Fort Wayne Center for Health Sciences were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 term. The following area students, all from Greenfield, were recognized: Brandon Murphy, majoring in management; Cole Pierce, majoring in biology; and Trenton Roberts, majoring in sport management. To earn Dean’s List honors, these students must complete a minimum of 15 hours and have a grade point average of 3.500-3.749.

Students were also named to the President’s List for Trine University. To earn President’s List honors, these students must complete a minimum of 15 hours and have a grade point average of 3.750-4.000. Madison Clutinger, Wilkinson, majoring in Accounting, Logan Sawyer, McCordsville, majoring in computer information science, and William Huffman, Charlottesville, majoring in mechanical engineering, were named to the President’s List.

Richard Matthews, New Palestine, was recently named to Trine University’s TrineOnline Dean’s List for the spring 2020 term. Matthews is majoring in Criminal Justice. To earn Dean’s List honors, TrineOnline students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.500-3.749. Students earn honors

from Ohio University

ATHENS, OH — Briahna Waddell, Greenfield, recently graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Molly Gannaway, Jacob Smith and Elizabeth Hart, all of McCordsville were named to Ohio University’s Dean’s List. To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester with a schedule of classes totaling at least 15 hours, 12 of which were taken for letter grades, to achieve this distinction. Tunc earns academic honors from Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, FL — Onur Tunc, Greenfield, has been named to the spring 2020 Dean’s List at Florida Institute of Technology. To be included on the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade point average of at least 3.4. Jaques named to Bluffton University dean’s list

BLUFFTON, OH — Jaden Jaques, New Palestine, was named to the Bluffton University dean’s list for undergraduate students for the spring 2020 term. Lord earns academic honors at Northern Illinois

DEKALB, IL — Northern Illinois University announced the inclusion of Mia Lord, McCordsville, on its spring 2020 Dean’s List. To earn this distinction, students must meet a minimum semester grade point average of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale in the colleges of Business, Education, Health and Human Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences and Visual and Performing Arts.
