GREENFIELD – The Exchange Clubs of Hancock County, along with the Indianapolis Airport Authority, plan a Field of Honor, comprising 800 to 1,000 American flags dedicated to first-responders, including police, firefighters and EMTs.
A meeting for prospective volunteers is planned for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Greenfield Ponderosa restaurant, 1585 N. State St., Greenfield.
The flags will be installed in June at Indianapolis Regional Airport, 5808 W. Airport Blvd., Greenfield. For more information, visit healingfield.org/greenfield18.
